This plugin simply shows if the rapidshare link is valid or not. I have configured mine to make a vaild link green, and a dead link red.

CES that the public beta for Windows 7 will be released on Friday, January 9, 2009. The public beta of Windows 7 will be available worldwide for everybody to download and get a genuine working product key.

According to Windows 7 Team Blog, the Windows 7 Beta will be available for Windows enthusiasts to download via the Windows 7 page on Windows.com. The Windows 7 Beta is going to be available download-only (no physical media) and available for a limited time to the first 2.5 million people who download the beta.

Another thing to note is that Windows 7 Beta will expire on August 1st, 2009. The currently leaked Windows 7 build 7000 expires on around July 1, 2009. So the actual official beta version for Windows 7 Beta may not be build 7000. However, the SHA1 hash values for the ISO images have been verified to be the same, so it’s likely that the official Windows 7 beta will have build 7000 too.

Musim hujan telah datang, sebagian orang memandang musim hujan sebagai sebuah berkah, namun tak begitu halnya bagi pemilik mobil, hujan membuat mobil kotor dan tak sedap dipandang mata.

Apalagi jika anda tinggal di kawasan yang rawan banjir dan pasti anda tak ingin mobil kesayangan Anda tergenang air, karena mobil secanggih apapun, sebetulnya tak pernah dirancang untuk tahan air.
Selain itu keutuhan sejumlah komponen, baik dalam mesin maupun komponen penggerak juga perlu dijaga dari ancaman air. Paling tidak sebagai persiapan mobil tak mogok walau terus diguyur hujan atau malahan terpaksa melewati beberapa genangan. Meskipun terkadang pemeriksaan sederhana ini berbuntut kunjungan kita ke bengkel langganan bila memang terdapat beberapa kerusakan serius.

Bukankah lebih baik mencegah dari pada mogok saat banjir melanda atau saat hujan deras menguyur mobil Anda. So, tak ada salahnya kita mencermati dan mengamati trik dan tips bagaimana cara merawat dan membersihkan mobil di musim hujan.

* Seperti kita tahu air hujan banyak mengandung garam dan butir-butir kotoran halus, karena itu jangan langsung mengelapnya, lebih baik basahilah dahulu bodi mobil Anda dengan air bersih sampai merata. Kemudian cucilah mobil dengan sampoo berbusa rendah dan bilaslah kembali secara merata serta mengelapnya.

* Jangan meninggalkan kotoran atau garam oleh air hujan pada bodi mobil lebih dari 3 hari, karena akan menyebabkan timbulnya karat, jamur serta noda-noda air yang mengering.

* Bersihkan mobil Anda secara menyeluruh, seperti: engsel mobil, tepi bagasi, tepi pintu mobil, tepi kap mesin, dll. Jangan meninggalkan bekas air sehabis mencuci pada bodi mobil terlalu lama karena dapat meninggalkan bekas yang sulit dihilangkan.

* Bersihkan mobil anda sebagian dahulu atau separuh setelah selesai baru kemudian yang lain.

* Hindari pencucian mobil dengan shampoo yang berbusa tinggi, jika tidak terlalu kotor, cukup dengan air saja.

*Pemeriksaan Komponen

Periksa sistem pembakaran
Periksa seluruh komponen sistem pembakaran seperti tangki bahan bakar, saluran bahan bakar, pompa bahan bakar, saringan bahan bakar apakah perlu diganti atau tidak dan jangan lewatkan komponen sistem pembuangan, gas buang, dan rangkaian knalpot.

Pemeriksaan ini perlu karena kebocoran itu tak saja membuat terbuangnya BBM secara percuma. Bahkan bisa membuat masuknya air ke dalam tangki bensin atau tabung dalam rangkaian knalpot mobil. Bila hal itu terjadi kerusakan lebih parah pasti akan terjadi pada sistem mekanis mesin lainnya.

Periksa sistem pengapian
Periksa komponen sistem pengapian. Cek saat pengapian dan lakukan penyetelan saat pengapian yang tepat. Periksa keadaan koil dan platina. Pastikan busi dalam keadaan bersih dari kotoran, periksa keadaan busi dari kemungkinan elektroda yang aus atau terbakar.

Ganti kabel busi bila sudah bocor, keras atau terlalu tua. Pemeriksaan lebih detail harus dilakukan pula pada penutup busi, koil atau distributor. Bila bagian ini terdapat celah atau lobang, guyuran air akan mematikan kelistrikan mobil bersangkutan.

Periksa sistem kelistrikan
Periksa komponen sistem kelistrikan apakah semua berfungsi dengan baik, seperti apakah ada kabel yang mengelupas, putus, kendor dan kerusakan lain. Periksa lampu-lampu kendaraan apakah ada yang putus. Periksa pula instrumen switch lampu. Masuknya air dalam sistem perlistrikan dan kabel bakal menyulut terjadinya hubungan arus pendek dan membuat mobil segera mogok jika bagian ini basah.

Periksa dinamo starter
Periksa apakah motor starter berfungsi dengan baik. Apakah motor starter lancar, tidak tersendat-sendat. Paling mudah terpantau saat dinamo stater mengalami kerewelan adalah susahnya mesin mobil dihidupkan. Pastikan pula arus yang mengalir ke motor starter kuat untuk memutar motor starter.

Bila keempat bagian ini benar-benar tak luput dari pemantauan, mobil bakal jauh dari momok ‘mogok’ walau setiap hari terguyur hujan bahkan saat Anda terpaksa menghadapi genangan air. Saat menghadapi genangan jangan panik, sejauh tak terlampau tinggi kurang dari setengah roda mobil. Dengan perlahan dan pertahankan tekanan gas dalam posisi tetap. Selamat berhujan-hujan!
